The announcement of one (1) position of Lecturer in the subject "“Pediatric ophthalmology – Neuroophthalmology”"for the assignment of teaching and clinical work to the Department of Medicine, School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly, based in the city of Larissa, for the academic year 2024-2025.
1. The conduct Teaching project it concerns the lesson for teaching in the lesson “Ophthalmology” (NP0300) (9th_YP_4 ECTS) with 1 hour of teaching work according to article 64 of Law 4957/2022 of the Department of Medicine, University of Thrace.
2. The conduct Clinical project concerns the "Neuro-Ophthalmology" outpatient clinic of the Ophthalmology Clinic of the Department of Medicine, University of Thessaloniki for one (1) day per week and the performance of four (4) procedures per month, on average, if the need arises to perform them.
The selected candidate must hold a Greek or foreign equivalent degree, a Greek or foreign equivalent degree, a PhD in a subject related to Pediatric Ophthalmology, a research project with publications in reputable scientific journals with an emphasis on the field of Pediatric Ophthalmology - Neuro-ophthalmology and particular research involvement in the subject, teaching experience in the field of Pediatric Ophthalmology and an excellent command of the English language.
The selected candidate will be employed through the Special Research Fund Account (SRA) under a project contract with the possibility of renewal or extension for up to three (3) consecutive academic years. The (gross) budgeted expenditure will amount to €500.00. In the event of early retirement or resignation of the Teaching Assistant, the remuneration will be calculated in proportion to the months of work.
