The Anesthesiology Clinic of the University General Hospital of Larissa was awarded by the European Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care as a European Training Center for Anesthesiologists during the European Congress of Anesthesiology in the city of Lisbon.

The award was received by the Director of the Anesthesiology Clinic, Professor Eleni Arnaoutoglou, from the Dutch Professor of Anesthesiology Markus Klimek, member of the Board of Directors of the European Society, at a special ceremony that took place on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the Lisbon Congress Center.
