Suspension of Education
Every Master's Student has the right to request, with his application, permission to suspend the attendance of courses or the preparation of his thesis. The permit is granted by decision of the Coordinating Committee, it is given only once and cannot be longer than two academic semesters, nor shorter than one semester. Permission to suspend studies for more than two academic semesters can only be granted to a Master's Student who fulfills their military service or in cases of justified absence after the recommendation of the Director of the P.M.S. The Master's Student's study suspension time is not calculated in case of exceeding the duration of study. The Master's Student who will repeat his studies is obliged to attend all courses, workshops, seminars, practical exercises, etc., in which he was not successfully evaluated before the suspension of his studies. A Master's Student who takes a leave of absence, when he resumes his studies, is still subject to the study status of the time of his registration as a Master's Student. Postgraduate Students who are on educational leave are not entitled to a leave to suspend their studies, except in exceptional cases (prolonged illness, etc.).
Deletion from the P.M.S.
In case of violations of the Code of Ethics and Ethics of the University of Thessaly or exceeding the maximum study time limit, the postgraduate student will be removed from the P.M.S. after a decision of the Assembly of the Department
