Awarded without competition for the academic year 2024-2025 to excellent students of the Medical School of Greek Universities originating from the prefecture of Chania.
The award is named "GEORGE N. CHAZIRIS AWARD".
The prize amount is 1,000 euros.
The award is given once to the beneficiaries.
The number of awards is 16 and refers to excellent medical students of Greek Universities, (the first 16 with an excellent score from 8.50 to 10) originating from the prefecture of Chania.
Interested parties must submit the following supporting documents to the governing committee of the foundation (Agia Marina Parish, 73100, Chania):
a) application, b) certificate of locality (evidence proving the birth of the student or one of his parents or the parents of his parents in the prefecture of Chania) from which their origin from the prefecture of Chania is evident; any other case due to force majeure will be examined separately, c) certificate from the secretariat of their school or department confirming that they have successfully passed all the courses of the previous semesters, d)
Detailed grades for the last two semesters and their performance must be an average of 8.5 or above (excellent).
