POSITION DESCRIPTION
Pediatrics is a recognized medical specialty and has as its object the treatment of all diseases that concern humans from birth to late adolescence. The field of Pediatric Pulmonology concerns the treatment of acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory system in children. The subject of Pediatric Pulmonology also includes the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing in children. This position requires clinical experience in Pediatrics par excellence, which means many years of clinical work in a Pediatric Clinic of a tertiary hospital that treats a wide range of pediatric diseases. Regarding Pediatric Pulmonology, the candidate is required to have dealt with the management of acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory system in children and, in addition, to have experience in the management of children with sleep-disordered breathing and in the operation of a sleep laboratory.
Additionally, this position, in addition to clinical experience, requires many years of educational experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as research work related to Pediatric Pulmonology and sleep-disordered breathing.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The subject of “Pharmacology” refers to the study of the pharmacodynamics (mechanisms of action) and pharmacokinetic properties of drugs (interactions with the body), the indications and contraindications, the interactions and the toxicity that can be caused during the application of a drug therapy. It includes the study of structure and pharmacological action, the interactions between drugs and biological systems in vitro at the biochemical, genetic, molecular level and in vivo in animal models of diseases, the development of new drugs through preclinical and clinical studies and the processes of improvement of known pharmaceutical substances, with the ultimate goal of using drugs as safe and effective therapeutic agents in humans. The position requires experience and internationally recognized research work in the field of Pharmacology with particular emphasis on cancer and anticancer drug therapies.
