POSITION DESCRIPTION
Obstetrics and Gynecology is a recognized medical specialty and its subject matter is the physiology of the female reproductive system and the function of the reproductive axis, menstruation, conception, the physiology and development of pregnancy, normal childbirth, normal puerperium, pregnancy disorders, high-risk pregnancies, the pathology of labor and puerperium and the treatment of all the above disorders either pharmacologically or through obstetric interventions. It also has as its subject matter the diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the external and internal genital organs of women as well as the treatment of disorders, endocrine and others, of the reproductive system and menstruation, infertility, family planning and contraception.
This position requires clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, which means many years of clinical work in an Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of a tertiary hospital, which treats the wide range of obstetric and gynecological disorders and diseases.
This position, in addition to clinical experience, requires many years of educational experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as research work related to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
