POSITION DESCRIPTION
The field of Ophthalmology includes theoretical knowledge of diagnostic methodology, clinical and surgical skills related to research as well as the diagnosis and clinical treatment (conservative and invasive) of the full range of diseases of the eye, its adnexa and the visual pathway with particular emphasis on the diagnostic and surgical treatment of glaucoma. This position requires significant and long-term clinical experience in the field of Ophthalmology, mainly in a tertiary hospital, as well as many years of educational experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Undergraduate teaching includes lectures, supplementary electronic material in e-class and mandatory clinical practice.
