INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

UNIVERSITY OF THESSALIA

FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS BY YOUNG SCIENTISTS WITH A DOCTORAL DEGREE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ACTION "ACQUISITION OF ACADEMIC TEACHING EXPERIENCE BY YOUNG SCIENTISTS WITH A DOCTORAL DEGREE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF THESSALIA" IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-2025

The Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaly, through the Special Research Fund Account in the context of the implementation of the Project included in the "Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021-2027" Program (No. Call No. 108523/24.07.2024, code EKP30) entitled "Acquisition of academic teaching experience for young scientists holding a PhD at the University of Thessaly for the academic year 2024-2025 (code MIS:6017342), which is co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund (ESF)) and by National Resources, with the beneficiary being the Special Research Fund Account of the University of Thessaly

Taking into account:

1. The provisions of Article 103 of the Constitution of Greece
2. The provisions of Law 4957/2022 (Government Gazette 141/A/21.07.2022) "New horizons in Higher Education Institutions: Strengthening the quality, functionality and connection of HEIs with society and other provisions", as in force.
3. The provisions of Law 5094/2024 (Government Gazette 39/A/13-3-2024) "Strengthening the Public University framework for the operation of non-profit branches of foreign universities and other provisions".
4. The provisions of Law 4386/2016 "Regulations for research and other provisions", as in force.
5. The provisions of Law 4914/2022 (Government Gazette 61/A/21-3-2022) on the management, control and implementation of development interventions for the programming period 2021-2027, as in force.

The call with no. pr. 108523 and code EKP 30 (ADA: 9Μδ1Η-0Κ4), entitled "Lifelong learning actions in Higher Education (acquisition of academic teaching experience for young scientists holding a PhD)" for the submission of proposals to the "Human Resources and Social Cohesion" Program 2021-2027, which is co-financed by the European Social Fund
9. On the no. pr. 134652 EX 2024 (ADA: 63TH-A34) Decision of the Special Secretary for the Management of European Social Fund Programs on the subject of Inclusion of the Act "Acquisition of academic teaching experience at the University of Thessaly for the academic year 2024-2025", with OPS Code 6017342 in the Program "Human Resources and Social Cohesion" 2021-2027
10. The decision of the meeting of the Research Committee of the Special Research Fund Account of the University of Thessaly dated 42/21.01.2025 (AD: 9ΤΗΠ469Β7Ξ-ΜΣΔ) regarding the acceptance and approval of the Call for Expression of Interest and the evaluation criteria and their scoring.
11. C 262/01/19.07.2016 Commission Notice on the concept of State aid as referred to in Article 107(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union
12. Commission Regulation (EU) No. 2023/2831/13.12.2023 on the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid granted to undertakings providing services of general economic interest.

Young Scientists holding a Doctoral Degree to express interest in providing teaching work as tenured lecturers at the Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaly during the spring semester of the academic year 2024-2025, according to the attached Annex I of the positions, as approved by decision no. 319/13.01.2025 of the Senate of the University of Thessaly regarding the distribution of positions in the Departments/Schools.

Interested candidates are invited to submit an application for the positions of tenured lecturers advertised in the Scientific Fields designated by the Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaly.

Manner and Deadline for Submission of Expression of Interest Applications

The submission of applications and other supporting documents of the persons concerned shall is done exclusively electronically in the eEUDOXUSmail of the Secretariat of the Department of Medicine (g-med@med.uth.gr ), with notification to the email address rc.gr.project@uth.gr

Date of submission of supporting documents: to on Monday, February 3, 2025 at 12 noon, and will receive a protocol number from the Secretariat of the Department of Medicine.

Note: Replacing the application or correcting it or completing any missing supporting documents is only allowed until the end of the application submission deadline.

Attention: Interested parties are requested to send their supporting documents correctly:  The names of the supporting documents files as well as the folders be in Latin characters (e.g. YD_DADDY, CV DADDY DHMOSIEYSEIS etc.), short, without punctuation marks or symbols.

Please read the instructions carefully for correctly completing the supporting documents before submitting them.
