Masterclass in Artistic Research and Interdisciplinary Dialogue
The team Biotransformation through art forms / SciArt Research, within the framework of 1st International Performing Arts Festival of Thessaly UNDER THIRTY and in collaboration with the University of Thessaly invites students, researchers, faculty members and anyone interested from the academic community of the University of Thessaly to participate in the masterclass Performing the River.
The masterclass explores the relationship place – body – time, approaching the river as a relational field and the projection as a technological, visual and psychodynamic process. The theoretical part will take place in Katsigra Amphitheater of the Medical School, while the experiential and performative phase will evolve into River Sculpture by Nella Golanda, transforming public space into a field of artistic research.
The masterclass is aimed at those interested in contemporary art forms, environmental and social practices, the relationship between art and science, and interdisciplinary research methodologies.
