The Alumni Association of the Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaly, informed with deep sadness of the untimely loss of our colleague

Athanasios Konstantinos, Orthopedic Surgeon of the General Hospital of Larissa,

graduate of the Department of Medicine, who passed away at the age of just 51, met in extraordinary session and decided the following:
1. To express sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
2. To recognize the scientific and clinical contribution of the deceased, as well as his dedication to the profession of physician for the benefit of patients and society.
3. To publish this resolution on the website of the Department of Medicine and on the website of the Association.

The loss of our colleague leaves an irreplaceable void in the scientific community and in the large family of our alumni.
