Start of Submission of Applications for the Right to Housing in Student Residences in Larissa and Karditsa Academic Year 2026-2027
The application process for student housing in Larissa and Karditsa for the 2026-2027 academic year has begun. Applications must be submitted electronically via the University of Thessaly platform (https://merimna.uth.gr/) Access: Use your institutional account credentials (a VPN is required).
Housing & Meals: If you are applying for housing, you are automatically applying for free meals as well. You must select the option "Housing and Meals" (Στέγαση και Σίτιση) on the form.
Application Period: From Tuesday, May 5 to Thursday, May 21, 2026.
ATTENTION: Interested students only for free food, will be informed with a further announcement regarding the submission of their application.
Requirements: To submit, you must have: a) A 2025 Tax Assessment Notice (Praxis Dioikitikou Prosdiorismou Forou) and b) A Certificate of No Debt from the Department of Housing and Meals, confirming you have settled previous financial obligations to the Student Residencies.

Applications for the Student Housing Allowance are submitted electronically through the website of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs https://stegastiko.minedu.gov.gr, via the housing allowance application.
Student Housing Allowance for the Academic Year 2025-2026
30-06-2026 Start of Submission of Applications for the Student Housing Allowance for the Academic Year 2025-2026
We inform students of the University of Thessaly that applications for housing allowance for the academic year 2025-2026 will be submitted electronically by Tuesday, June 30, 2026 through Friday, July 31, 2026, through the website of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports in the special application for the housing allowance https://stegastiko.minedu.gov.gr.
In any applications requiring the submission of additional supporting documents for the evaluation of the application, these should be sent within 15 days from the date of submission of the application, by post or email or delivered in person to the competent services of the Student Affairs Department of the University of Thessaly. https://www.uth.gr/zoi/foititiki-merimna/merimna-epikoinonia.
ATTENTION
- To be valid, applications must be finalized and receive a registration number and date of application submission.
- Also students who live together with siblings or other students, both must submit, in addition to the main application, and supplementary application cohabitation.
