Opening of Applications for Student Accommodation and Catering – Academic Year 2025–2026

We inform undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as doctoral candidates of the University of Thessaly who are interested in Student Catering or Accommodation, that they must submit their application electronically an      Αίτηapplication through the University’s online platform (https://merimna.uth.gr), using their institutional account credentials. To access the online application platform from a computer outside the University networkconnection via the Virtual Private Network (VPN) is required. Virtual Private Network (VPN).

A necessary prerequisite before submitting the application is the issuance of the Administrative Tax Assessment Act (formerly the Tax Assessment Notice) for the tax year 2024.

-Applications for ACCOMMODATION (applicable exclusively to the cities of Larissa and Karditsa) will be submitted from Tuesday, 13 May to Tuesday, 27 May 2025. All Interested students,after logging into the platform, must select exclusively the option “Accommodation and Catering” κand should not submit a separate catering application, as their application will be evaluated simultaneously for the provision of free catering. 

-Applications for CATERING (applicable to all cities of the University of Thessaly) will be submitted from Tuesday, 13 May to Thursday, 31 July 2025. All interested students, after logging into the platform, must select exclusively the option "Catering".

Student Housing Allowance

Applications for the Student Housing Allowance are submitted electronically through the website of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs https://stegastiko.minedu.gov.gr, via the housing allowance application.
