INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
The Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaly announces the operation of the Postgraduate Studies Program (MSP) "Postgraduate Diploma in Nephrology Care" for the academic year 2023-2024.
The PMS consists of a 4-semester study cycle, which includes the attendance of postgraduate theoretical and practical courses, the preparation of a diploma thesis and an elective internship (or research project), with a total of 120 credits (ECTS). The Courses, held in the Greek language, aim to provide a high level of specialization in all areas of Nephrology Care: in the Artificial Kidney Unit, in the Peritoneal Cleansing Unit, in the special renal replacement and dialysis treatments, emergency Nephrology and the Nephrology clinic in general.
Start of classes on March 8, 2024.
Tuition fees amount to 2,000 euros (€1,000 at the start of Semester 1 and €1,000 at the start of Semester 3).
Accepted 1) graduates (or final students, if they graduate by January 2023) of Medicine, Nursing of the country or equivalent recognized departments abroad, 2) graduates of HEIs and TEIs with a title related to the fields of Medicine, Nursing or Nephrology and 3) HEI and TEI graduates with proven professional or research experience in these fields. Holders of a foreign degree must present the recognition of their degree by DOATAP.
Interested prospective postgraduate students must submit the following to the Program Secretariat:
1) Application for Participation
2) Copy of Degree/Diploma (DOATAP recognition) or confirmation that they are expected to graduate
3) Copy of detailed score
4) Curriculum vitae
5) Evidence of professional experience
6) Evidence of knowledge of foreign languages and other additional qualifications, such as special seminars, scientific studies, scientific publications
7) Two (2) letters of recommendation from University professors, researchers or eminent personalities
8) Two recent ID photos
9) Copy of police ID
In order to process the application, the submission of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 is mandatory, while the submission of the rest is desirable but optional.
Deadline for submitting applications and supporting documents: January 31, 2024.
