NOTICE – INVITATION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
for the academic year 2024-2025
(online teaching facility supported)

The Department of Medicine of the University of Thessaly invites interested parties to apply for the Master's Degree Program (M.S.) entitled "Neurorehabilitation" for the academic year 2024-2025.
The "Neurorehabilitation" Master's Program awards a Master's Degree (M.D.S.) to "Neurorehabilitation" for candidates who will follow the general program (B1) and Diploma of Postgraduate Studies (D.M.S) in "Neurorehabilitation with specialization in Cognitive Neurorehabilitation" for candidates who will follow the sub-specialization program (B2).

Basic Objectives of PMS "Neurorehabilitation"
The P.M.S. has as its mission to cultivate and promote, through academic and applied teaching and research, the high-level training of researchers and health professionals in the recognition, evaluation and improvement of motor, cognitive and other deficits of patients with neurological diseases and to provide its Graduates with the necessary supplies that will ensure their adequate training for their academic scientific and research careers in the area of the United Europe.

Selection Conditions
At PMS, graduates of Departments of Medicine and other departments of Universities of the country and of recognized institutions abroad of a related subject (graduates of Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Special Education, Physical Education, Dietitians, Health Visitors, Social Workers etc.).

Structure of the Program
Duration of studies three (3) Teaching Semesters:
1The (Winter) Semester: 5 compulsory core courses
2The (Spring) Semester: Choice of Course (B1 or B2), 4 compulsory courses
3The (Winter) Semester: Diplomatic Thesis
The total number of credits (ECTS) required to obtain the Postgraduate Diploma (MPD) is 90 ECTS.

Start of study course: September 2024. Course attendance is mandatory.

Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for each postgraduate student amount to 3,000 euros (First Semester: 1500 euros, Second Semester: 1500 euros, Third Semester: 0 euros).

Interested prospective postgraduate students are invited for the acad. year 2024-2025 to submit the following supporting documents to the PMS Secretariat:

  1. Application for participation (on the PMS website)
  2. Detailed curriculum vitae with details of the candidate's studies, research and professional experience (according to the model that will be found on the website of the PMS).
  3. Copy of diploma or degree or confirmation that the candidate is expected to graduate by the day the courses start.
  4. Copy of detailed score
  5. Photocopy of the police ID or passport.
  6. Two letters of recommendation
  7. Scientific publications, distinctions and evidence of research activity (if any)
  8. Evidence of professional experience (if any)
  9. Proof of knowledge of foreign languages
  10. One photo ID
