NOTICE - INVITATION

Interdepartmental Graduate Program

PRIMARY HEALTH CARE

academic year 2026-2027

In the context of the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program of the Department of Medicine and the Department of Nursing of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly entitled "Primary Health Care", interested postgraduate student candidates for the academic year 2026-2027 are invited to submit an application to the Secretariat of the DPMS.

Graduates of Schools of Health Sciences and other Departments of the national HEIs or recognized equivalent Institutions abroad as well as graduates of TEI Departments of a related subject are admitted to the DPMS. As an exception, university and technical college graduates are accepted, whose proven professional and research experience in health services will be taken into account.

The DPMS is structured over 3 academic semesters, which include 8 courses and the preparation of a Master's Thesis. The total number of credits (ECTS) required to obtain the Master's Degree is 90 ECTS.

The DPMS courses are held approximately once a month from Thursday to Saturday (part of the courses are held via distance education in accordance with the legal provisions.)

Tuition/tuition fees amount to €3,000 for the entire duration of studies and are paid in three installments at the beginning of each semester.

One is given scholarship (tuition fee refund) to the first ranked graduate postgraduate student based on the score, who will complete their studies within the stipulated time period (3 semesters).

Interested postgraduate student candidates can submit to the secretariat of the DPMS,  from May 04 to June 22, 2026 (by courier or in person), the following supporting documents:

1. Application for Participation (at the Secretariat and on the DPMS website).
2. Detailed curriculum vitae (CV form at the Secretariat and on the DPMS website).
3. Copy of degree or certificate that the candidate has fulfilled his educational obligations (In the case of graduates of foreign universities, a certificate of recognition from DOATAP must be submitted if available, otherwise the provisions of article 304 of Law 4957/2022 apply).
4. Transcript.
5. Scientific publications, distinctions, evidence of professional or research activity (if any).
6. Evidence of professional experience (if any).
7. Photocopy of two sides of the police ID.
8. Evidence of foreign languages (In special cases language skills will be judged by the Selection Committee).
9. Two photo IDs.
10. Two letters of recommendation
