Evaluation Method: | Final written exam which takes place at the end of the semester. The final written assessment is based on the texts taught during the semester.
The evaluation process of the course is done in French, it is jointly decided with the students in the first courses. It is, however, possible for students who for serious reasons cannot attend the course to submit a written exculpatory paper on a topic that is defined together, in consultation with the teacher and under her supervision. |

Objective Objectives/Desired Results: |
The development of basic language skills is sought (listening-comprehension of spoken language, reading-comprehension of written language, production of spoken language, production of written language, mastering of language structures) as well as the study and dissemination of elements of French culture. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: Understands and uses the syntactic and grammatical structures of the French language. Understands words and common expressions in daily dealings with French-speaking students or academic staff. Understands and asks simple questions about his/her daily life. Answers personal questions about his/her daily life. Describes him/herself or someone else using simple phrases. Understands simple text messages related to interacting with French-speaking students in an academic and/or social context. Understands and uses basic health-related vocabulary. Understands simple medical texts. General Skills Development and improvement of linguistic communication skills in the French language provided for level A1/A2 by the Common European Framework of Reference. Developing the use of the internet for searching, analyzing and synthesizing data and information. Developing the ability to work independently. Adaptation to new situations. Developing the ability for teamwork. Cultivating respect for diversity and multiculturalism |
