Objective Objectives/Desired Results: The Urology course is a core core course of the Medical Schools. The course material aims to introduce students to the scientific field of genitourinary diseases. Undergraduate education is achieved by attending mandatory lectures (2 hours per week) as well as mandatory clinical practice (2 hours per week) in the wards of the University Urology Clinic, Outpatient Clinics, Specialist Clinics and Surgery rooms with a large number of patients suffering from genitourinary diseases. and require the adoption of the so-called holistic diagnosis and treatment. Also, the clinical practice is complemented by the acquisition of clinical skills in preforms as well as in animal preparations. In order to attend the course effectively, the student should have the knowledge of all the courses of the previous semesters.

The course is the tool for introducing students to the basic principles of the pathophysiology of diseases of the genitourinary system. Also, through clinical practice, it introduces students to the basic principles of genitourinary surgery (open and endoscopic). Finally, it contributes to the acquisition of inductive thinking which is deemed necessary for the proper initiation of students into the functioning of the Medical profession.
