Teaching Method: Training takes place in groups under the supervision of a responsible faculty member and each student is responsible for monitoring specific patients

Analysis of clinical cases and utilization of the clinic's information system

Participation of students in medical visits in the clinic, in the activities of the emergency department and outpatient clinics as well as in the surgical procedures in which they actively participate


Evaluation Method: Mandatory attendance at course lectures

Objective Objectives/Desired Results:
  1. Students' familiarization with the diagnosis and treatment of surgical patients.
  2. The participation of students in post-educational courses, seminars or conferences organized by the Surgery Clinic.
  3. Students participate in the clinic's activities as medical trainees.

Course Description: 1. During the students' practice in surgery, separate practice in Orthopedics, Vascular Surgery, Anaesthesiology, Urology, Cardiothoracic Surgery is also included.
2. The educational activities include the active participation of students in the care of surgical patients both in the clinic and in the emergency and accident department, as well as the follow-up of postoperative patients in outpatient clinics.
