| | Course Description: | - Liver diseases: trauma, pyogenic abscess, amoebic abscess, hydatid liver disease, non-parasitic liver cysts, polycystic liver disease, neoplasms, portal hypertension.
- Biliary diseases (anatomy physiology, gallstones acute-chronic cholecystitis, obstructive, jaundice).
- Pancreatic diseases (congenital anomalies, pancreatitis, neoplasms, endocrine tumors).
- Surgical diseases of the spleen
- Small bowel diseases (intestinal obstruction, inflammatory diseases)
- Diseases s of the colon – rectum – anus: hemorrhoids, anal fissure, perianal abscesses – fistulas, appendicitis, neoplasms of the colon, inflammatory diseases of the colon, diverticulitis, pilonidal cyst.
- Carcinoids and carcinoid syndrome
- Peritonitis
- Acute abdomen (symptoms, clinical-laboratory examinations, disease classification, diagnosis – differential diagnosis)
