Evaluation Method: -Written exams in Obstetrics-Gynecology I at the end of the spring semester (joint written exams for M-C I and M-C II)

The evaluation of the course and the teachers is carried out electronically with a special questionnaire from the students before the end of the teaching semester of the course, with which each of the teachers is evaluated, both for lectures from an auditorium (2 hours per week) and for clinical tutorials (2 hours per week). Students are also encouraged to express their opinion on the overall educational process of the course and any proposed changes.

The results of the above answers to the questionnaire are used appropriately with the aim of improving the educational process for the specific course.


Objective Objectives/Desired Results: The general purpose of the course is:

– The study of the human reproductive function and the normal development of pregnancy.

– The acquisition of knowledge in gynecological endocrinology

– The diagnosis and treatment of the pathological conditions of pregnancy.

– The research approach to human reproduction

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

  • He has an understanding of the physiology and pathology of the reproductive cycle and gynecological endocrinology
  • He has an understanding of human reproductive function and infertility as well as infertility treatment methods
  • He has understood the physiology of pregnancy and its monitoring
  • He has understood the diagnosis and treatment of the pathological conditions of pregnancy
  • Can collaborate with fellow students to research and analyze international literature

 He/she will be able to use the acquired knowledge in order to:

  • to design studies to investigate relevant cases
  • to write review articles
  • to make use of international databases
  • to appropriately approach patients and pregnant women
  • collaborate with fellow students to make detailed presentations on related topics
