STUDENT EVALUATION

Written exams (20 multiple-choice questions, no negative marking, 10 of which must be answered within 60 minutes) General criteria are discussed during the introductory course.

Mid-term: the students will go through a test with Short Answer Questions, Essay Development Questions, Problem Solving,


Objective Objectives/Desired Results:

The general purpose of the course is to introduce students to the basic knowledge of autoimmune diseases and to enable them to plan, analyze and write assessments
This course is designed to:
• provide an in-depth understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles in immunity, autoimmunity and immune-mediated pathophysiology.
• The course will cover topics such as immune mediatedinflammatory diseases, autoimmune diseases, diagnosis and treatment, management and quality of life, immunomodulatory new treatments] with an emphasis on practical application and real-world examples.
• Students will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities,
• group discussions, and
• case studies to enhance their learning experience.
By the end of the course, participants will have gained a comprehensive knowledge of [subject] and will be well-equipped to:
• write assignments individually or in collaboration with other members (students, small groups)
• make use of bibliography search tools
• have the resources to pursue a future career in specialties that include basic and applied clinical immunology and translational autoimmunity
