Objective Objectives/Desired Results:
The general purpose of the course is to introduce studentsto the Psychosomatic theory and practice and the modern psychosomatic perception. Furthermore, the course seeks to provide students with the concept of cycling relationship and the complexinterplaybetween psychological, behavioral and biological factors in medicine as well as the biopsychosocial model of patient care. Finally, a main purpose of the course is theawareness concerning the psychological reaction of patientin clinical practice.
