Evaluation Method:
  1. The student's progress is monitored throughout the semester and the final grade is co-shaped by the overall image of the student throughout the course.

An assessment is also carried out:

  • in lessons with questions and clinical scenarios
  • in workshops- assessment:
  • model development
  • use of wound suturing, microsurgery, surgical and microscope tools
  • wound suturing

Objective Objectives/Desired Results:

The course is a core elective and the course material aims to familiarize students with extremity surgery, the basic treatment principles and first aid for extremity injuries through:

A. Targeted lectures

B. To acquire skills with practical exercises in microsurgery and anatomy laboratories

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

  • He has an understanding of limb conditions and first aid.
  • Has knowledge of the use of surgical instruments, surgical microscope and basic principles of suturing wounds
  • Uses surgical instruments
