Objective Objectives/Desired Results: |
The course material aims to introduce students to the relationship between social factors and mental health.
It also refers to the study and interpretation of the effect of social networks on various aspects of a person's life and in particular his health. In this sense, the course is the basis on which the student will understand the importance of psychosocial factors in the etiology and treatment of diseases.
Finally, the aim of the course is for students to understand the importance of prevention in medical practice.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- He has knowledge of the relationship of demographic factors, social factors, the family, the cultural environment, the natural environment and the position in social networks with mental health.
- He is able to distinguish the importance of the individual's adaptation to the social environment and the factors that facilitate or hinder it.
- He can collaborate with his fellow students for the preparation and presentation of original works in the field of Social Psychiatry.
