Objective Objectives/Desired Results: |
The main objectives of the course are:
- The student's introduction to the basic principles of spine function
- Understanding the pathophysiology of the spine
- His familiarity with spine pathology
- The information about the therapeutic options of conservative and surgical treatment related to the pathology of the spine
Learning Outcomes
After completing the course, students will be able to:
- To diagnose the pathology related to the spine and either treat the sufferers or refer them to more specialists
- Familiarize themselves with the flag system and recognize urgent medical conditions
- To cooperate effectively with the rest of the team of health scientists (Orthopedics, Neurosurgeons, Rheumatologists, Physiatrists, Psychologists), with the aim of optimal treatment of those suffering from spinal diseases
- To understand and evaluate the relevant articles and bibliography
