ANNOUNCEMENT OF ELECTION PROCEEDINGS

for the nomination of representatives

of the members of the Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP)

of the Clinical Laboratory Sector

at the General Assembly of the Clinical Laboratory Sector

of the Department of Medicine, SEY, University of Thessaly

with an annual term from 01.09.2024 until 31.08.2025

The Director of the Clinical Laboratory Department, Professor of Hygiene and Epidemiology Christos Hatzichristodoulou, taking into account:

1. The provisions of articles 34, 40, 41, 412 and 413 of Law 4957/2022 (Official Gazette 141/21.07.2022).
2. The provisions of article 7 of CHAPTER B, of 123024/Z1/06.10.2022 Official Decree of the Ministers of Education and Religion and State "PROCEDURE FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE TEACHING RESEARCH STAFF (D.E.P.), SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL STAFF (E.E.P.), LABORATORY TEACHING STAFF (E.D.P.) AND SPECIAL TECHNICAL LABORATORY STAFF (E.P.) T .E.P.) AND STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES" (Official Gazette 5220/t. B΄/07.10.2022),
3. On 119929/Z1/30.09.2022 circular of the Ministry Education "D. Establishment and operation of the collective bodies of the academic units of A.E.I. – Emergence and operation of one-person bodies of academic units".
4. The provisions of article 192 of Law 4823/2021, "Upgrading the school, empowering teachers and other provisions" (A΄ 136).
5. No. 5204/11-11-2021 Ministerial Decision, "Operation of the ZEUS digital ballot box" (Β΄ 5244).
6. The Acknowledgment Act of the Rector of the University of Thessaly on the subject: "Election of Department Directors of the Department of Medicine of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly" (AD: 9ΧΤΤ469Β7Ε-ΑΥ3).
7. The provisions of articles 76, 77, 79 and 80 of Law 4727/2020 "Digital Governance (Incorporation into Greek Legislation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and Directive (EU) 2019/1024) Electronic Communications (Incorporation into Greek Law of Directive (EU) 2018/1972) and other provisions" (Α΄184)

He proclaims

Elections for the appointment of a representative of the EDIP members of the Clinical Laboratory Sector at the General Assembly of the Clinical Laboratory Sector of the Department of Medicine of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly for a term of one (1) year, from 01/09/2024 to 31/08/2025, on June 20, 2024, Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Those interested submit their application exclusively electronically at the email address athanas@uth.gr, until Tuesday, May 28. Every EDIP member of the Laboratories of the Clinical Laboratory Sector has the right to apply for the position of representative, provided that he does not leave the service during the announced term. Candidates can withdraw their candidacy no later than ten (10) days before the date of the voting. The candidate's resignation is made exclusively electronically at the address athanas@uth.gr, which is addressed to the institution to which the nomination is submitted in accordance with the above. The applications for nominations and resignations are recorded by the competent services of the AEI, so that the date of their submission can be obtained and they are forwarded to the Elections Conducting Body.

The Electoral Body (EBO) will be appointed after the deadline for submission of applications by electronic voting in accordance with current legislation. The election will be held exclusively by electronic voting through the Special Information System ("ZEUS Digital Ballot") of the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures SA (https://zeus.grnet.gr), edited by O.D.E.

The Administrator O.D.E. checks whether the candidates meet the eligibility conditions, announces the candidates, prepares a single ballot with all the candidates and supervises the conduct of the voting. It extracts the results, announces the elected representative and sends the election record to the competent body.

In case of a barren election process, it is repeated on the next working day, when the candidate who collects the relative majority of valid votes is elected. If there is a tie, an electronic lottery is conducted using the "ZEUS Digital Ballot" system between the candidates who voted in a tie.

The body of electors is made up of the EDIP members who serve in the Laboratories of the Clinical Laboratory Sector.
