ELECTION NOTICE
for the appointment of a representative of the members of the Special Technical Laboratory Personnel (E.T.E.P.) and his/her deputy in the Deanship of the School of Health Sciences
The Dean of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly,
Considering:
1. Presidential Decree 83/1984 (Government Gazette 31/issue A/20-03-1984) "On the establishment of the University of the Aegean, the Ionian University and the University of Thessaly" as in force today
2. Presidential Decree 177/1993 (Government Gazette 65/issue A/28-04-93) "On the establishment of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly and the Department of Veterinary Medicine" as in force today
3. The provisions of article 22 of Law 4589/2019 (Government Gazette 13/ issue A/29-01-2019) "Synergies between the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the University of Thessaly with the Technical and Vocational Institutes of Thessaly and Central Greece, Pallimniako Fund and other provisions"’
4. The no. prot. 17467/24/ΓΠ/21-08-2024 (Government Gazette issue Y.O.D.D. 925/28-08-2024) Certifying Act of the Rector of the University of Thessaly, by which it was established that Professor Georgios Fthenakis, son of Christos, was appointed Dean of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly with a term of office from September 1, 2024 to August 31, 2027.
5. The provisions of articles 23 (as amended by article 46 of Law 5094/2024 and in force) and 41 of Law 4957/2022 (Government Gazette 141/ issue A/21-07-2022/) «New Horizons in Higher Education Institutions: Strengthening the quality, functionality and connection of HEIs with society and other provisions»
6. The provisions of articles 2 and 7 of Chapter B, of 123024/Ζ1/06.10.2022 Joint Ministerial Decree of the Ministers of Education and Religious Affairs and State "Procedure for the appointment of representatives of members of teaching and research staff (D.E.P.), Special Educational Staff (E.E.P.), Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDI.P.) and Special Technical Laboratory Staff (ETEP) and student representatives" (Government Gazette 5220/issue B'/07.10.2022),

He proclaims
elections via electronic voting for the appointment of a representative of the Special Technical Laboratory Personnel (STL) and his/her deputy in the Dean's Office School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly.
The term of office of the ETH representative and his/her deputy is annual and is set from 01-09-2025 to 31-08-2026.
Nominations are submitted by interested parties until Wednesday, May 21, 2025, time 14:30, to the Secretariat of the Dean's Office of the School of Health Sciences, bearing the signatures of the candidates, by electronic submission to the address kosmitia_sey@uth.gr, exclusively from the candidates' institutional mailbox.
Nominations are not permitted from members of the Ε.Τ.Ε.P. who leave the service due to reaching the maximum age limit during the term of office, as well as from members of the Ε.Τ.Ε.P. who are on unpaid leave or are suspended from duties at the time of the elections.
UTH members who have submitted a candidacy may withdraw their candidacy by submitting a written statement with a digital certificate, by electronic submission to the address kosmitia_sey@uth.gr, exclusively from the candidates' institutional mailbox, until the 10th day before the date of the election process.
