POSITION DESCRIPTION
The field of Radiology (Latin term Radiology) treats a wide range of medical imaging, including classical radiology, ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, as well as interventional radiology for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Familiarity with all imaging methods at the level of documented clinical experience and practice, teaching of Radiodiagnostic methods and techniques to undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as research activity in the subject with published studies and papers in conferences and journals of the Greek and international community are essential. The present position places particular emphasis on the above, in the field of interventional neuroradiology, aiming to cover specialized clinical cases and promote research in the newest techniques for treating central nervous system pathology.
