POSITION DESCRIPTION
One (1) faculty position, at the level of Associate Professor, with the subject of "Endocrinology", which concerns the investigation, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of endocrine and metabolic diseases, a field that includes diseases of the endocrine glands and the hormonal system, diabetes mellitus, obesity, disorders of metabolism, reproduction, growth and development, calcium homeostasis and bone metabolism, as well as endocrine neoplasms and syndromes of endocrine hypersecretion or deficiency.
This position requires significant and continuous clinical work in Endocrinology, preferably in a tertiary university or specialized hospital environment in Greece or abroad, significant and continuous educational experience, participation in administrative and organizational work, participation in the organization and implementation of clinical studies, as well as targeted research experience in a recognized center in Greece or abroad. Documented research proficiency is also required, with continuous work in clinical, clinical laboratory and translational research protocols in the broader field of Endocrinology and Metabolism.
