FIELD OF MORPHOLOGY

One (1) vacant professor position at the grade of Tenured Assistant Professor, with a subject area «"Anatomy".

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Anatomy is the branch of Medical science that studies the macroscopic structure of the human body and concerns the study, teaching and research of the structure and function of the human body with a clinical orientation, i.e. in relation to clinical medical practice, disease and therapeutic/surgical interventions. The position under advertisement must serve the requirements of modern anatomy and deal with 1) the preparation of all anatomical structures in the cadaver, 2) the thorough study and investigation of the macroscopic morphology of the various anatomical structures that are of surgical or interventional interest, 3) modern clinical biomechanics and kinesiology, 4) the identification and study of variations and malformations of the various anatomical elements found in the cadaver preparation, and 5) the investigation of the topographic-anatomical relationships of the various structures in order to determine an "anatomical safety area" where the clinician can confidently, without the risk of damaging adjacent benign structures, perform the anatomical or surgical preparation or any other intervention.
Teaching is carried out through lectures from an amphitheater, mandatory laboratory exercises with cadaver dissections, exercises with supplementary electronic material of three-dimensional anatomical applications and models.
The position also requires significant relevant and ongoing research work in basic and clinical research.

One (1) vacant professor position at the grade of Tenured Assistant Professor, with a subject area «"Pediatrics".

JOB DESCRIPTION
Pediatrics is a recognized main medical specialty and its purpose is to treat all diseases affecting humans from birth to late adolescence.
This position requires clinical experience in general Pediatrics, which means many years of clinical work in a tertiary pediatric hospital treating a wide range of pediatric diseases. The field of knowledge of Pediatrics also includes any specializations such as pediatric neurology, pediatric intensive care, neonatology, etc.
This position, in addition to clinical experience, requires many years of educational experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as research work at the clinical and basic levels.
