Internal Evaluation Unit (IUE)
Faculty of Medicine IUE
(Law 3374/2005, article 5, par. 2)
IUE is appointed by the academic unit undergoing evaluation, by decision of its General Assembly.
It is composed of distinguished members of the Faculty or OP of the ranks of Professor and Associate Professor, preferably with experience in quality assurance procedures.
A representative of the students participates.
Responsibilities of IUE
IEU is responsible for the conduct, in collaboration with the relevant Quality Assurance Unit (MO.DI.P.), of the Internal Evaluation Process in the academic unit.
Monitors the completion of Census Forms and Questionnaires (see Census Forms and Course/Teacher Questionnaire for Students) and informs the institutions and members of the academic unit about the answers and results of the dialogue of the Professors and the students and collects all the necessary relevant data.
Gathers all the necessary data for the evaluation and based on them,
drafts it Internal Evaluation Report (Self-Assessment) of the academic Unit, which it forwards to Quality Assurance Unit (MO.DI.P.) and through MODIP to Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE) . (Law 3374/2005, Article 5 §2).
Collaborates with HAHE for its organization and implementation External Evaluation.
The role of Internal Evaluation Group (OM.E.A.) is το staff, coordinate but also execute: OM.E.A. plans and coordinates the evaluation process and is responsible for drafting the Internal Evaluation Report.
