The European Commission continues for the year 2024 the "Short-term traineeship programme - Erasmus for Public Administration" for civil servants of the Member States (MS), with the aim of improving their knowledge and understanding of European institutions and policies.

The Program organized and implemented by the European School of Administration – EAS (www.europa.eu/eas) is addressed to new public servants (Administrative, Higher Education category), who have been recruited up to five years before the application deadline and have proven employment/experience of at least six months in a field related to European policy issues.

A prerequisite is excellent knowledge of two languages: English and French or English and German.

Also, candidates should not have worked or participated in any other training program in European Union institutions or bodies.
