Incidents of abuse in Greece have been steadily increasing in recent years, with complaints involving female victims becoming the new daily routine. The most immediate outlet for people who have been abused is the health system and the professionals who work in it.

But how ready are the Medical Students to manage such a situation?

HelMSIC – Hellenic Medical Students International Committee, continuing its efforts to combat gender-based violence through the project "How to Treat your Patient: Advocacy to combat gender-based violence" is carrying out a survey to medical students of clinical years, with the aim collecting data on their experience and educational needs on the topic of gender-based violence and approaching patients who have suffered abuse.
