SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS FOR DOCTORAL DISSERTATION
According to the amended regulations for the preparation of doctoral theses of the Department, applications are submitted to the Department Secretariat within the first five (5) days of each month.

According to a decision of 8her/16-02-2022 Department Assembly, the Research Protocol and Evaluation Form Standards for the DD and the Self-Assessment Table for the Ethics & Ethics Committee will function as an aid, and will be part of the necessary documents to be submitted with the application by each Postgraduate researcher:

After the completion of the final assessment and evaluation of the doctoral thesis
A prerequisite for your participation in the oath-taking is the submission of the final text of the thesis:
a) at the Library of the University of Thessaly – Larissa Branch, in electronic form. In the electronic form there will be a single file in WORD or PDF format. Then, two (2) certificates from the Library are presented to the Secretariat: of the submission of the thesis and of the non-obligation to return the book or other material that you have borrowed.
According to the Postgraduate Studies Regulation of the University of Thessaly, (article 8, Common provisions of the postgraduate and doctoral studies, par. 6):
- Institutional repository. Approved Master's theses and doctoral theses, after any corrections proposed by the examination committees, are submitted by the candidate master's or doctoral students to the library in one (1) copy in electronic format. The Department Secretariat does not complete the stages of awarding the corresponding academic title if it does not previously receive from the candidates a certificate of deposit of the master's or doctoral thesis from the institution's Library. Under the responsibility of the central library of the University of Thessaloniki, all these works are published in the University's institutional repository. http://ir.lib.uth.gr/handle/11615/17.

b) at the National Documentation Center which, according to article 70 of Law 1566/1985, is the body responsible for the creation and maintenance of the National Archive of Doctoral Theses (the Secretariat registers you on the special EKT platform, an informational e-mail is sent to you and you proceed to register the thesis in order to post it on the EKT website. After the check, an informational message is sent from the EKT platform to you and the Secretariat regarding the completion of the process)
c) to the Department Secretariat one (1) copy in electronic format (for the Department's archive).
And finally, submit to the Secretariat the "APPLICATION FOR OATH" form within deadlines that are notified in a timely manner by the Secretariat.
