Welcome to the Faculty of Medicine
The Faculty of Medicine was founded in 1985 and welcomed its first students in the 1990–1991 academic year. It was the first Faculty established within the School of Health Sciences at the University of Thessaly, became an autonomous department in 1995, and has since operated in Larissa.
The facilities of the Faculty of Medicine include pre-clinical course laboratories, clinical units, lecture halls, an auditorium and administration offices.
