ASCLEPIOS - Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Thessaly

ASCLEPIOS, the Students’ Association of the Faculty of Medicine was founded on January 14, 1991. It is administered by a five-member Executive Board, which is elected annually. All students of the Faculty of Medicine are entitled to register as members of the Students’ Association, which operates legally under statutes officially recognized by the Larissa Court of First Instance.

Scientific Society of Hellenic Medical Students

The Hellenic Medical Students’ Scientific Society (HMSSS) was founded in 1993 and currently consists of seven Branches, one at each Medical Faculty of a Greek University, with more than 3,000 registered members. 
Its aim is to promote the scientific engagement of medical students and to contribute to medical, social, and educational activities. The Society’s flagship event is the Hellenic Medical Students’ Scientific Conference (HMeSCo), which on an annual basis hosts thousands of health sciences students, offering them the opportunity to become acquainted with and advance within the scientific and research community. Each year, the Conference is organized and hosted by a different Branch.
 
 Registrations for the Hellenic Medical Students’ Scientific Society take place at the Faculty of Medicine (Biopolis), specifically at the Society’s office located at the back of the library. Hellenic Medical Students’ International Committee

 HelMSIC – Hellenic Medical Students' International Committee is an independent non-governmental, non-profit, non-political organization of medical students. It was founded in 1958 and today consists of 7 local committees, one in each Medical School of Greece.
