We inform you that according to paragraph 3 of article 31 of Law 4452/2017 (Α΄17) it is defined that: "Undergraduate and postgraduate students and doctoral candidates, who do not have other medical and pharmaceutical care and hospital care, are entitled to full medical and pharmaceutical care and hospital care in the National Health System (NHS) with coverage of the relevant costs by the National Health Service Provision Organization (EOPYY), in accordance with Article 33 of Law 4368 /2016 (A΄83)".

Therefore, health booklets will no longer be issued to uninsured students of the University of Thessaly, and we kindly ask those students who received health booklets in the past to return them to the Department Secretariat.

Her edition European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for uninsured students moving to European Union and EEA countries for educational purposes, it will be carried out by the Directorate of Student Welfare. The costs that may arise will be covered by the University of Thessaly.

For the administration of E.K.A.A. the following documents are required:

1)    Application.

2)    Certificate from the Office of International Relations for the period of time of their movement abroad.

3)    Photocopy of the Academic ID.
