The University of Thessaly Medical Student External Mission Team is a group of Medical students that has been active since 2018 with the aim of providing humanitarian aid to developing countries. The action takes place in the context of an elective course related to global public health under the scientific guidance of Professor Mr. Christos Hatzichristodoulou and Professor Mr. Matthaios Speleta. The group's goal is to offer medical care especially in areas where people's access to health services is difficult or impossible. Three missions have been successfully carried out in Kenya in collaboration with the Orthodox Metropolitan of Kenya Mr. Makarios.
In the time that elapses until the mission is carried out, the primary concern is to raise awareness among the citizens of Larissa and Thessaly. For this purpose, the External Mission Team organizes charity Easter bazaar in order to strengthen its work, where it will take place outside the Katsigra Building in Post Office Square (22 Papakyriazi) from 22/04/2024 to 01/05/2024. 

The revenues that will be collected will be allocated for medical equipment.
