Objective Objectives/Desired Results:
The course accounts for one of the basic pillars of Pathology.
The course content focuses on the development of clinical and critical consideration of the students.
Furthermore, it is related to clinical entities. In this regard, the course is the basis on top of which the student will be familiarized with cardiovascular diseases. Lastly, the goal of the course is the students’ comprehension of the importance of clinical manifestations, laboratory and imaging findings in a distinct scientific field/occupation.
After the course’s successful completion, the student will be capable of:
Understanding the mechanism, clinical picture and the laboratory findings of the common cardiovascular diseases.
Understanding of the clinical manifestations of the abovementioned diseases.
Distinguishing the basic treatment options for each one of the abovementioned diseases.
Selecting the best options (advantages and disadvantages) of the various imaging, laboratory and immunologic tests used for the diagnosis of the abovementioned diseases
Analyzing laboratory and imaging findings of the abovementioned diseases
Cooperating with his/her fellows in order to elaborate on a subject of the abovementioned diseases.
