Objective Objectives/Desired Results:
The general purpose of the course is to introduce students to the Major Schools of Thought in Psychology as well as to the study of mental functions such as Sensation, Perception, Memory, Learning, Emotions, Consciousness. Furthermore, the course seeks to provide students with the knowledge of the neurobiological background of normal psychological functions as well of psychopathology. Finally, a main purpose of the course is the study of therelationship between stress and health issues.
