Objective Objectives/Desired Results:
The aim of this course is to introduce students to contemporary knowledge in the field of Haematopathology and become familiar to the diagnostic approach of hematological diseases.
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to use the acquired knowledge to:
Understanding of hematopoietic and lymphoid tissue neoplasms classification
Be familiar to methods and techniques used in their diagnosis
Distinguishing the distinct clinicopathological entities in Haematopathology
Using of microscopic images for lymphoma and hematopoietic diseases diagnoses
Organizing and analyzing data from immunohistochemistry and molecular techniques for haematological diagnosis.
Using scientific books and publications, to be informed about the recent knowledge related to Haematopathology.
Collaborate with fellow students for presentation of clinical cases, or a paper/literature review on a given topic.
Collaborate with fellow students in searching literature and writing scientific articles – interesting clinical cases.
