An evaluation is also being carried out:

  • Throught courses with questions and clinical scenarios
  • By laboratory workout – evaluation:
  • model development
  • the use of microsurgical, surgical and microscope tools
  • wound suturing techniques

2. Oral exams

Objective Objectives/Desired Results:

The course is a basic elective course and aims to familiarize students with surgical procedures of the extremities, basic management principles and first aid for injuries of the extremities through:

A. Targeted lectures

B. Acquisition of skills with practical training in anatomy and microsurgery laboratories.

Upon successful completion of the course the student will be able to:

  • Have an understanding of the extremity injuries and first aid
  • To be familiar with the use of surgical instruments and surgical microscopes
  • To be familiar with basic trauma suturing techniques
