 ANNOUNCEMENT OF ELECTION PROCEEDINGS

for the nomination of the representative of the members

of Laboratory Teaching Staff (E.D.I.P.) with his deputy in his Assembly

Τμήματος Ιατρικής, ΣΕΥ, Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας  με ετήσια θητεία από 01.09.2025 έως 31.08.2026

The President of the Department of Medicine, bearing in mind:

1. The provisions of article 29 of Law 4957/2022 (Official Gazette 141/21.07.2022), "1. The Department Assembly consists of: a) the President of the Department, b) the Vice-President of the Department, c) the Directors of the Departments, if there are Departments in the Department, d) twenty percent (20%) of the members of the D.E.P. who serve in each Sector, if the total number of D.E.P. members who serve in the Department are from one hundred (100) to two hundred (200)..", e) one (1) representative from each category of members of Special Educational Staff (E.E.P.), Laboratory Teaching Staff (E.D.I.P.) and Special Technical Laboratory Staff (E.T.E.P.) of Department, as long as a member of the corresponding category serves
2. The provisions of article 6 of CHAPTER B, of 123024/Z1/06.10.2022 Official Decree of the Ministers of Education and Religion and State "PROCEDURE FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE TEACHING RESEARCH STAFF (D.E.P.), SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL STAFF (E.E.P.), LABORATORY TEACHING STAFF (E.D.P.) AND SPECIAL TECHNICAL LABORATORY STAFF (E.P.) T .E.P.) AND STUDENT REPRESENTATIVES" (Official Gazette 5220/t. B΄/07.10.2022),
3. On 119929/Z1/30.09.2022 circular of the Ministry Education "D. Establishment and operation of the collective bodies of the academic units of A.E.I. – Designation and operation of one-person bodies of academic units"
4. The provisions of article 192 of Law 4823/2021, "Upgrading the school, empowering teachers and other provisions" (A΄ 136).
5. No. 5204/11-11-2021 Ministerial Decision, "Operation of the ZEUS digital ballot box" (Β΄ 5244).
6. Official Gazette 785/YODD/31-12-2022 regarding the election of the President and Deputy President of the Department of Medicine of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Thessaly for a term of two (2) years from 1-9-2022 to 31-8-2024.

He proclaims

Εκλογές την Πέμπτη 19 Ιουνίου 2025, με ώρα έναρξης 09.00 π.μ.-14.00μ.μ. για την ανάδειξη του εκπροσώπου των μελών Εργαστηριακού Διδακτικού Προσωπικού (Ε.ΔΙ.Π.) με τον αναπληρωτή του στη Συνέλευση του Τμήματος Ιατρικής, ΣΕΥ, Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλίας  01.09.2025 έως 31.08.2026, με ετήσια θητεία.

The elections will be held by universal, direct and secret voting, carried out exclusively electronically through the special information system called "ZEUS Digital Ballot" of the Greek public limited company, under the name "National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures S.A. » (EDYTE S.A.), according to Official Gazette 5220/t.B΄/07.10.2022.

Those interested should submit their candidacy, with their application exclusively online, to the Secretariat of the Department of Medicine, at the electronic address g-med@uth.gr, από την Τρίτη 29 Απριλίου 2025 έως  και την Τετάρτη 28 Μαΐου 2025 και ώρα 14:30. Κάθε υποψήφιος μπορεί να παραιτηθεί από την υποψηφιότητά του. Η παραίτηση γίνεται με γραπτή δήλωση, αποκλειστικά ηλεκτρονικά στην ηλεκτρονική διεύθυνση g-med@uth.gr, which is submitted to the competent body for the issuance of the notice in accordance with its terms and is immediately forwarded to the Elections Conducting Body (ODE), no later than the tenth day before the voting is held.

All EDIP members have the right to apply for the position of representative in the Department's Assembly, provided that they do not leave the service during the term for which the position is advertised and are not on leave without pay or suspended at the time of the elections. The nominations are submitted before the competent body for the issuance of the notice and forwarded to the Elections Conducting Body (ODE).

The electoral body for the nomination of a representative from the category of members of the Laboratory Teaching Staff (Laboratory Teaching Staff) and his deputy consists of all the members of the relevant category of special teaching staff, who serve in the academic unit, at the time of the implementation of the elections. Any staff on suspension or unpaid leave is excluded from the electoral body.

The electoral rolls are drawn up by the competent administrative service of A.E.I. and include the following information: first and last name, patronymic, email address, Department or Unitary School that the elector serves. The electoral rolls are delivered to the O.D.E. and are posted on the website of A.E.I. or of the academic unit, if the electoral process concerns an academic unit, so that each voter can check if he is included among them. If a voter finds that he is not included in the electoral rolls, while he has the right to participate in the electoral process, he may submit a request before the O.D.E. in order to be included in the electoral roll and the O.D.E. by his decision he accepts or rejects the request with reasons.

Ως Όργανο Διεξαγωγής Εκλογών (Ο.Δ.Ε.) ορίζεται τριμελής Εφορευτική Επιτροπή αποτελούμενη από τρία (3) τακτικά και ισάριθμα αναπληρωματικά μέλη. Με επιμέλεια του αρμόδιου οργάνου για την έκδοση της προκήρυξης, διενεργείται ηλεκτρονική κλήρωση για την ανάδειξη των μελών της Εφορευτικής Επιτροπής μεταξύ του συνόλου των μελών της οικείας κατηγορίας προσωπικού που υπηρετεί στο Α.Ε.Ι. ή την αντίστοιχη ακαδημαϊκή μονάδα, εξαιρουμένων των μελών που έχουν υποβάλει υποψηφιότητα ανά κατηγορία. Εάν ο αριθμός των υπηρετούντων μελών ανά κατηγορία προσωπικού είναι μικρότερος από τον αριθμό έξι (6) και δεν επαρκεί για την ανάδειξη τριμελούς Εφορευτικής Επιτροπής, με ηλεκτρονική κλήρωση αναδεικνύεται ένα (1) μέλος ανά κατηγορία προσωπικού, το οποίο αναλαμβάνει τα καθήκοντα του Ο.Δ.Ε.

When voting, each voter may choose one (1) candidate. As representative of each category of staff, the one who collected the largest number of votes is elected, and as his deputy, the next candidate in order of preference.

Εάν η διαδικασία αποβεί άγονη επαναλαμβάνεται την επόμενη εργάσιμη δηλαδή την Παρασκευή 20 Ιουνίου 2025, και ώρα 09:00 π.μ. έως 12:00 μ.μ. (ώρα Ελλάδος), σύμφωνα με τις διατάξεις της αριθμ. 123024/Ζ1/06.10.2022 Κοινής Υπουργικής Απόφασης (Β΄ 5220).

If there is a tie between the candidates, an electronic lottery is conducted using the "ZEUS Digital Ballot" system among those who voted in a tie.

Εντός επτά (7) ημερών από την ολοκλήρωση της εκλογικής διαδικασίας, από το σύνολο των εκλεγμένων εκπροσώπων των μελών Ε.Ε.Π., Ε.ΔΙ.Π. και Ε.Τ.Ε.Π. στη Συνέλευση του Τμήματος αναδεικνύεται με μυστική ψηφοφορία μεταξύ αυτών ένας (1) εκπρόσωπος, με τον αναπληρωτή του, ο οποίος συμμετέχει στο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του Τμήματος σύμφωνα με την παρ. 1 του άρθρου 31 του ν. 4957/2022 ή την περ. δ) της παρ. 2 του άρθρου 22 του ν. 4957/2022 αντίστοιχα. Η θητεία του εκπροσώπου είναι ετήσια, άρχεται την 1η Σεπτεμβρίου κάθε ακαδημαϊκού έτους και λήγει την 31η Αυγούστου του ίδιου ακαδημαϊκού έτους.
